Things To Take On A Long Haul Plane Journey
There are a few things that you should take with you if you are planning on taking a long haul plane journey in the not too distant future. These trips can get very boring and the in-flight entertainment is often a disappointment. Here are a few ideas to help you make it through the trip.
- An iPad or iPhone. These new devices are just ideal for travelling long distance. You will be able to find a host of applications which will keep you entertained throughout your flight and there are even some applications which are perfect for those travelling. You can start learning the language of the locals while sitting on the plane or take advantage of this time to plan your trip. You can download some amazing guides which will mean you won’t have to take heavy books with you and you can check out Google maps for directions. And if you want the time to pass quicker then you can play some of the great games. However you will have to have a charger with you as the batteries do not tend to last very long.
- Take an e-Book reader. An eBook reader is a great purchase and one that you should definitely think about for holidays unless of course you already have one on an iPad. If you are like me you never quite know what you want to read until the mood hits you. An eBook reader however, can store hundreds of books so you will always have something on hand that you want to read.
- A travel neck pillow. Although they are not superb they are better than not having a pillow. When I don’t have this with me on my travels I really miss it because it enables me to get a few hours sleep at least.
- A recording of relaxation music. You can put these onto your iPod and you will be amazed at how quickly the times passes when you are relaxed. These recordings always have the effect of leaving me fully relaxed for hours afterwards.
